21st Century Flâneur looks at the relationship between the observer & the observed. In the gallery, the power system of this relationship tips completely. Not only is the normally empowered observer now visible for our own observations, he is on display for us, and the ability to end this situation of observation becomes ours. Despite this, his presence remains disconcerting and dominates the ambiance of the room.
