This Piece was named after Latvia’s most popular and longest running soap opera. It shows a stereotypic icon of an overweight child playing on a See-Saw. On the other end is a Television set with which he has replaced real friends.
The child represents those whose lives revolves around television, and mirrors the dichotomy of a person having to sacrifice their own life in order to watch an artificial one.
The See-saw's main section does not connect directly with the ground at any point. Instead it is supported at the centre by an axel and the side walls.
